Exam Review:
The following works will be included on the exam: 1984, Brave New World (chapters 1-8), and Catcher in the Rye. Review the themes, characters, and plot of each story before coming to the exam. We have also completed the following modes of writing this semester: Narration & Description, Comparison, and Argument & Persuasion. On the first section of the exam you will be using one of the above modes in a writing prompt. The second section of the exam include a reading selection that you will analyze and respond to questions based on purpose, audience, and strategy. Meet in computer lab #438 for your exam. You will have the opportunity to type your responses.

The Week of November 16
Meet at the library each day with your issue paper folder. You will spend the week researching your issue. You will need to have four highlighted articles, a works cited page, and a typed thesis statement by Monday, November 23. You will receive a grade each day in the library. Therefore, you should be using your time in the library wisely.
