Hello Seniors!

This week you will finish your "Why I Write" essay.  However before you turn it in, you will be able to have someone in class, review it and provide you with some necessary suggestions.  We'll talk final due date in class.  As of right now, I have made the due date for Tuesday, Sept. 16...but we will see where you are with your writing process on Monday.

We will then spend the rest of the week discussing information regarding college essays.  We will talk audience, purpose, and discuss article pertaining to choosing and writing the college essay.  Start reviewing some of your possible college choices and find their essay topic.  I will bring in the Common Application topics.

A day late will be accepted via e-mail on Saturday, March 19 & two days late will be accepted on Sunday, March 20. Of course, each day late means a letter grade lower.
